PRESS RELEASE: ADL Health Joins the CommonTrust Network, Integrates with CommonPass as a Trusted Testing Partner

The partnership enables users to share verified test results to demonstrate their health status ahead of international travel using the CommonPass app

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- August  16 , 2021 -- ADL Health and The Commons Project Foundation today announced that ADL Health is the latest member to join the CommonTrust Network, a global registry of trusted health data sources created to ensure that only verifiable lab results and vaccination records are presented for the purposes of international travel and commerce.

Launched by The Commons Project Foundation and the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with a broad, voluntary network of public and private stakeholders, the CommonTrust Network provides countries that have adopted specific entry requirements with a more reliable and efficient way to validate the COVID-19 health status of incoming travelers. Since its inception in January 2020, the nonprofit network has partnered with more than 450 credible laboratory, vaccination and health record data sources, enabling border officials and airlines across the globe to confirm that the information they’ve received from a traveler is accurate.

ADL has championed the most accurate at-home COVID-19 test possible to fight back against the pandemic. Considered the gold standard, due to its precision, ADL’s COVID-19 test expands testing availability across the US and internationally. The tests are processed by ADL Health (ADL) at their COVID-19 testing laboratory in San Antonio, Texas. ADL's self-collection kit includes a plastic tube, a nasal swab and instructions on how to properly collect a specimen. ADL's telehealth system will be available to support customers traveling to destinations that require a health care professional to supervise the COVID-19 test.

“Swift results have never been more important than in the face of COVID-19,” said Stan Crawford, chief operations officer for ADL.  “Our goal is to make a positive impact on the travel industry, to get passengers to their destinations stress-free.”

“The shared mission of CommonTrust Network members is to empower individuals with digital access to their health information so they can improve their health, inform their care and demonstrate their health status when they travel, all while protecting their data privacy, “ said Paul Meyer, CEO of The Commons Project. “With the addition of ADL Health, the CommonTrust Network is increasing access to this kind of experience for millions of people across multiple regions making it a truly global registry of valid sources.”
